TXM was founded in 1995.  It was established to provide clients with direct assistance in obtaining proper product classification, tariff coding, export licensing as required, and compliance recordkeeping for their export business.

TXM holds the Better Business Bureau Seal of Reliability, and participates in SBEA exporter services.

Ed Coffin is the founder and principal at TXM.  He holds multiple certifications from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, for performing export regulatory and compliance services. 

Ed also has served on the Board of Directors of the Small Business Exporter's Association (SBEA), in Washington, D.C.  He has testified to Congress regarding small and medium size enterprise (SME) export of services, and made multiple appearances on the Small Business Advocate talk radio broadcasts as a member of their 'brain trust'.

TXM clients have ranged from major airlines and their subsidiaries to high tech startups, and include:

- American Airlines/American Eagle. SABRE, Network Catalyst, Network Alchemy, and a variety of enterprises whose export trade involves controlled products, technologies, or services.

- Firms which employ foreign nationals with access to controlled items (deemed exports).
